Surf club hosts plaque dedication
Santa Cruz Surf Club Preservation Society will host a dedication ceremony of the 1936 Santa Cruz Surf Club Plaque Monument from 11 a.m. to noon Saturday at the Cowell Beach parking lot next to the Dream Inn.
Immediately after the dedication, the celebration will continue at the Surf View Room of the Dream Inn until 2 p.m. Snack and refreshments will be served. No-host bar, beer and wine. For information, call 831-334-3125 or email at kwstoner@comcast.net.
