- Dear Road Ruler: I’m envisioning how backed up the right lane would get around town from light to light as we keep the left lane open for people to speed through town. Plus it will make it intimidating for people to try and turn left. There are a lot of cars out there and people at different points of driving ability. Be kind and work with that rather than making others accommodate you.
- Yes, about passing lanes, maybe this person ought to take a class and there’s too many people on too little road here in Longmont. Way too many houses and condos and apartments have been built and no roads have been built to keep up with that.
Taxi
Let’s change gears, have a little fun and still laugh at the Democrats. Just watch an old rerun of the television show “Taxi.” Make sure that Rev. Jim is one of the characters that is shown in that episode. Then turn on one of the debates and watch Bernie Sanders. You’d think you’re listening to the same person.
CDOT
“Colorado unveils $1.6 billion road map.” State always cries wolf to try to get us to rescind our TABOR refunds for roads when, wow, they just found $1.6 billion for the road map project. Now you know why I vote no on TABOR-related ballot issues.
Editor’s note: The funding for road projects CDOT unveiled Thursday comes from several pieces of legislation passed between 2017 and 2019. The spending represents 15% of a previous estimate from CDOT that pegged the state’s necessary highway maintenance and expansion at $9 billion.
Impeachment
Poor Republican senators, they’re stuck between a rock and a hard place. They either need to do the right thing or they need to succumb to the rabid, brainwashed Republican voters.
