Dems’ present
I would like to thank the Democrats for my Christmas present. … In 2020, they will give us four more years of prosperity, security and thoughtfulness under a second term of President Trump. Thank you, Democrats.
Printing lies
You have people that call things that are not based in fact. We’ll pick one out here: “It appears to me that many presidents in the past have done exactly what President Trump did, only requiring a payback.” No, that didn’t happen. “And do remember that Biden, on public television, withheld a billion dollars in aid to Ukraine until they (fired the country’s top prosecutor.)” No, that’s a lie. “The investigation of the company that his son worked for even though we had no expertise or anything else to offer them, it looks to me like sheer political eyewash.” No, you’ve been poked in both eyes by the Republican Party. But I guess that’s my point. You can’t just leave things hanging out there that are total lies for three, four, five days at a time. I have a hard time believing that you don’t have enough calls on the weekend when people actually have time to call.
Unconstitutional
Regarding impeachment: What the House of Representatives has done is unconstitutional per Alan Dershowitz and Ken Starr. What’s more, it is now trying to dictate to the Senate how it must conduct its business. Another fact is that the House claims the evidence is so overwhelming that it is incontrovertible, yet they insist on having the Senate hear from many more witnesses. If it is so overwhelming, why are many additional witnesses necessary? They can’t have it both ways.
Illegal, undocumented
I am delighted that the state of Colorado is turning away from prejudicial, discriminatory and just plain nasty language. I am so happy that we will change our documents so that prejudicial terms will be removed from the dialog in Colorado. Let’s turn Colorado into a compassionate, caring state, and this is a good place to start.
Our government, the Bible and our society are all based on laws to keep life fair and safe. “Illegal” refers to someone’s actions in breaking a law. So a migrant or alien can act either legally or illegally. They make the choice that can give or take away their own respect. I’m calling our State House rep to say vote no on the word “undocumented.”
