The holiday shopping season is underway.
At Best Buy on Jonestown Road in Lower Paxton Township, about 300 people waited in line to shop on Thanksgiving Day.
There were over 100 employees ready to help them to find what they were looking for, the store’s general manager Clayton Witter said.
Witter has been general manager at the store for five years now. He said he was pleased that the shoppers were orderly and that everyone could enjoy their time spent in the store.
One thing that’s different this year is the QR code. Shoppers can scan the code to instantly find out what the best sales are when they are shopping, Witter said.
