Dog waste

I live across the street from the neighborhood park in The Valley subdivision. I’m shocked by the amount of dog waste being left by dogs of every size. It’s your responsibility if you own a dog to pick up after it. It has become worse this year because of people who come here from other areas, instead of going to dog parks to exercise their dogs. Again, please remember that it’s your responsibility to pick up after them.

Vandalism

In reading the article about the vandalism at Twin Peaks (Golf Course) and the request from the police department for the public support in keeping an eye out: What good does it do? Past instances throughout our city prove nothing is ever done to the convicted. Well, maybe a time out.

Blue Mustang

About that blue Mustang with the noisy exhaust pipes. You should see the car drive up Main Street. I don’t think the driver knows the speed limit is 25 miles an hour, and definitely doesn’t pay attention to any noise ordinances. Do we have a noise ordinance on noisy cars? Because this blue Mustang qualifies for some attention.

Crow for Dems

Do you think we should put the American crow on the endangered species list immediately? Because come Nov. 4, I don’t think there’s going to be enough crow for the Democrats to eat, especially if the liberal vegans partake.

A king?

I’m trying to imagine how somebody can think that Trump is trying to become king. Exactly what it is in your imagination that allows you to say something like that? Where do you see a shred of evidence of any kind?

Trump and stocks

I disagree with the person who says stocks are suddenly rising since Trump has been in office. My initial investment 10 years ago was $5,000. That stock holding was up to $35,000, and in the three years that Trump has been in office, it has lost $10,000.

Wheel inventor

Here’s a pop quiz. Which American invented the wheel? A) Thomas Edison. B) Alexander Graham Bell. C) Eric Trump. No cheating on Google.

Factual numbers

This is about “Lying numbers.” … The numbers are there in PolitiFact. It’s just a little harder to look that up. A better source of that information is the Washington Post. President Trump made 16,241 false or misleading claim since he’s been president. That was just put out four days ago.

Impeachment cost

I’d like to know if anybody knows just a general idea of how much this impeachment stuff is costing the American taxpayer? … Just a rough figure, just possibly. Somebody out there must know.

Student loans

I’m calling about student loans. I don’t want to pay for people to go to college. It’s their choice. People used to work their way through college, not … expect other people who didn’t go to pay their bills.
