Stand united
United we stand, divided we fall. Please consider these words as our country is being so badly divided by the powerful people in Washington, each of whom believes we should absolutely believe the way they do.
Trump and stocks
Evidently the person who thinks the stock market has done so well since Trump has been in doesn’t watch the news and doesn’t see that the stock market has been like a roller coaster going up and down and up and down. And by the way, the stock that I invested in gained amazingly in a few years, and it did drop $10,000. … It’s just that Trump has the market in a tizzy just like he does everything else.
This is for the Trump supporters who think that he has control over the success of their retirement plans. As you can see from the dive that it (took) because of the coronavirus, it should help you see that he has nothing to do with how your retirement plan is performing. It’s going to rise or fall without his influence. Maybe you can now start looking at his actual behavior and his poor performance as the president and his illegal acts.
Republican denial
We have some fabulous examples of denial in the comments on the TC Line. Denial of Trump’s lies; denial of the number of abortions, when they’re actually lower than the person’s quoting; denial of climate change. So many denials. Now you understand why the Republican Party doesn’t want to educate the population, because it’s so much easier to teach people to be in denial if they don’t take the time to do their homework.
Let voters decide
Donald Trump was elected for the people, by the people. Let him serve his term, and then vote for whoever you want to. But keep it out of the TC Line.

Trump the hero
Trump wants to root out corruption. Three questions: No. 1, when does he get his cape? No. 2, when does he join his sidekick Rudy and head to South America to fight for truth, justice and the American way? And finally, as Sydney Carton asked, should we erect a statute or will bust suffice?
Liberal legislation
I quit being a liberal when I started noticing that the legislation that was produced by liberals produces the opposite result of what was intended. Affordable housing causes housing prices to go up. Rent control causes rent prices to go up. The war on poverty caused more poverty and locked people into it. And now I look at this farce of an impeachment and I go, good heavens, what has happened to my Democratic Party?
