Rec center
What part of “no” does the City Council not understand? We had a vote in 2019. The result was no ice rink. Does only money talk? How about building some more apartments, small homes, duplexes that people can afford, in the $300 a month range? Please understand that not all people earn high wages.
The City Council should do a more inclusive outreach effort to find out people’s opinions about building another rec center. Seniors on fixed incomes and low income families may have to pay an increased sales tax to support another rec center. Can they afford it? Many in the city are already having a hard time keeping up with their utility bills. Not everyone has a computer to take the rec center survey.
Bigger comics
Hello, Times-Call bigwigs. As the paper has gotten smaller, so have the comics. Would you please double the size of the comics so old people can read them better, please? And do the color version. (That) would be fantastic.

To the caller who said that I was so stupid because I was complaining that the Republicans were defending against the Mueller Report and the Democrats hadn’t ever pressed the Mueller Report as part of the impeachment: I think (you) misunderstood what I was saying. The Mueller Report was no part of the impeachment, and the Republican seem to want to pull up old wounds from the Mueller Report and blame it on incompetent Democrats or something. But nobody’s saying Trump should be impeached for the Mueller Report. I did not say that. .. Maybe you read it wrong.

GOP cover-up
The Republican cover-up’s in full swing. So now it begins. As you’ve been warned repeatedly by this man, they’re running up the debt and deficits to all-time levels with poor choices, including a border wall that blows over in the wind. The war is in full swing in the Middle East, so now they will come for your Medicare, Social Security and disability insurance, because Republicans can’t be trusted with making intelligent choices for the people in this country. The time to hit the street was before this trial, so do not be surprised when your democracy is gone.
Fake news bill
There’s been a bill filed with the state of Tennessee that recognizes CNN and the Washington Post as fake news and part of the media wing of the Democratic Party. I don’t know if it’ll pass, but you know, it’s pretty much the case.
