To all the people that are complaining about the lack of roads and/or the high cost of rent: Please look up the relationship between supply and demand in economics, and you’ll understand why things are. Unless you want government intervention to fix it for you.
Dem love, GOP hate
What I learned from the TC Line (recently) is that Republicans want to keep the death penalty while the Democrats don’t want to kill anyone. I think not killing is on the list of the 10 Commandments. And I also learned that Republicans use the word hate a lot, and I don’t see the Democrats using that word. They’re more inclined to love thy neighbor, which I think is on one of the lists that Jesus spoke about.
Crybaby conservative
Dear crybaby conservative. There have been many, many days when the entire TC Line is filled with Republican comments, but liberals do not call in asking for the removal of the editor. Thank God not all media outlets are like Fox News and tailor made for fragile eyes and ears.
Death penalty
Our Democratic state Legislature is passing a law that there will be no more death (penalty) in our state for criminals. This is wrong. They’re sneaking this by while we’re looking at other things: the impeachment of Trump (and) the national health scare that’s going on.
Trump market
All the Trump stock market gurus never mention the fact that 2018 losses were the second worst since 2008 due to Trump’s failed trade war. Facts do matter in the real world. Just not in Trump’s alternative fantasy world.
Acquitting Trump
It is so sad that more than half of our Senate has decided that the end justifies the means. A few things for them to think about: All that is necessary for evil to triumph is for good people to do nothing. And the second thought is: Pride comes before the fall.
The paper says “GOP seeks to acquit trump without condoning conduct.” How do you think Trump’s going to take this? I think there’s no doubt, he’ll take it as condoning his conduct, and he’ll do it again.
This is about “GOP seeks to acquit Trump without condoning conduct.” That whole trial needs to be thrown out. Donald Trump’s lead defense lawyer Jay Sekulow was in the room with Rudy Giuliani and Lev Parnas when he told him to go put the screws to the Ukraine. How was that not a conflict of interest for the lawyer?
Insulted intelligence
Are there no manners left in this country? Mainstream media conversing with laughter and insulting the intelligence of all Trump voters. It seems they all want socialism so we can lose all of our freedoms and be out on the streets, begging for bread. It could be so good, if only.
